Title: MERN Developer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

75% MERN development / 25% data visualization.
Experienced in aggregating and optimizing large data sets.
Implements Figma designs accurately with attention to performance.
Gains experience in data aggregation and reporting workflows.
Assists in legacy app enhancements and optimization under Sr. developer guidance.
Focused on building core MERN development skills with exposure to real-world visualization challenges.

Project/Group: Distribution Operations Business Insights (DOBI):

Application focused on data visualization and reporting, not transactional workflows.
Core purpose: transform large Cognos reports into automated, user-friendly dashboards.
Went live in May; current phase focuses on enhancements and new use cases from distribution leadership.
Separate service layer supports automated data flows.
Developers do not write queries directly, but must be comfortable with:
Large data sets
Aggregating results
Understanding data flow from Oracle/SQL systems
Key responsibilities:
Implement Figma designs into functional, high-performing visualizations
Rebuild and optimize legacy app for speed and usability
Deliver faster and more effective visualizations for leadership
Hybrid requirements: 2-3 days onsite
