Head of AI DevOps
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite, 5 days/week)

Overview
We're hiring a hands-on, senior DevOps leader to join a high-profile global company and shape its AI cloud infrastructure from the ground up. This role blends deep engineering expertise with strong leadership and product thinking.
You'll build and scale a modern DevOps ecosystem--CI/CD, IaC, observability, security--while also influencing company-wide engineering strategy. We're looking for a builder, a strategist, and a sharp communicator who thrives in fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
Lead the transition to scalable, secure, automated DevOps practices
Evaluate and introduce cutting-edge tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
Drive adoption of containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing
Collaborate with dev, security, QA, and product to align priorities and practices
Own system uptime, observability, incident response, and root-cause analysis
Champion DevOps best practices, IaC, performance tuning, and governance
Stay ahead of trends -- including AI/ML integration into infrastructure workflows
Requirements
MUST HAVE AI EXPERIENCE
8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
Deep experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Proven leadership in high-traffic, production environments
Expert-level knowledge of tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Hands-on coding and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, etc.)
Experience managing system reliability, security, and compliance at scale
Strong communicator -- can lead teams, present strategy, and align with execs
AI/ML pipeline experience is a plus
Must-Have
You are local -- within a 40-mile radius of LA/Santa Monica
You are onsite 5 days/week
You are still hands-on with code, tools, and systems -- not just managing others
