We specialize in modernizing legacy platforms, building cloud-native solutions, and ensuring engineering excellence with strong coding practices, testing, and continuous delivery.
We are seeking an experienced contractor with deep expertise in Python to join us on client engagements focused on platform modernization, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
(For U.S. applicants only): U.S. based individuals must legally provide independent contractor services through their own LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp
4+ years of professional experience with Python (Django, or Django Rest Framework preferred)
Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (preferably Azure Kubernetes Service)
Proven experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with international teams and clients.
Nice to Have
Strong experience with TypeScript and React for modern web applications
Experience with observability tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, etc.)
Experience with data compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, or similar)
Responsibilities:
Design and implement Python-based microservices and TypeScript/React frontends for large-scale platforms
Refactor and modernize legacy applications into scalable, maintainable, and secure systems
Contribute to architecture discussions: multi-tenancy, event-driven systems, CI/CD, and Kubernetes deployments
Ensure compliance and data security standards (HIPAA/GDPR) where required
Collaborate with a distributed, agile team delivering iterative value through MVPs and incremental demos
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and code reviews

The projected salary range for this position is from $47 to $55/hr, determined by the candidate's interview outcome, skills, experience, education, and alignment with market data.
