Part-Time (Academic Year Fall 2025/Spring 2026) | Potential Summer Offer

Location: (Roanoke in person/hybrid)

Compensation: $12-$15 an/hour

We are seeking a motivated current college student to join our team as a part-time intern during the academic year, with the opportunity for a summer offer. This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, and content creation who want to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growing company.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

Capture and edit photos/videos of ongoing projects to showcase craftsmanship and milestones.
Maintain and organize visual assets in Dropbox for easy access and collaboration.
Design marketing materials (graphics, flyers, presentation decks) for client pitches and social media.

Social Media Management

Plan, schedule, and post engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Monitor analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement.

Internal & External Communications

Coordinate team communications to ensure alignment on project updates and marketing goals.
Assist in drafting email campaigns, newsletters, and client updates.
Support strategies for promoting new projects and company milestones.

Market Research & Strategy

Research market trends and competitor strategies.
Identify opportunities for Skyward's brand growth.
Qualifications
Current college student (sophomore-senior preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
