AI Product Strategy Lead (12‑month fixed term)
**Role Summary**
Lead the creation and execution of a cohesive AI product strategy for a leading energy company’s next‑generation technology portfolio. Manage a cross‑functional team comprising product, technology, design, data, operations, GTM, and strategy functions to prioritize, scope, and launch AI‑driven solutions that deliver measurable customer value.
**Expactations**
- Own the vision, roadmap, and tactical execution of AI product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market opportunities.
- Translate customer insights and business data into actionable strategies across the entire product lifecycle.
- Influence senior leadership (Directors, C‑suite) to secure buy‑in and resources for AI initiatives.
- Drive rapid experimentation, iteration, and scaling of AI prototypes into production-ready products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and champion a clear AI product vision and roadmap, integrating in‑house and SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align priorities, coordinate delivery schedules, and remove impediments.
- Identify and evaluate emerging AI technologies (Gen AI, Agentic AI, etc.) and assess their commercial potential.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing product team, fostering empowerment, creativity, and psychological safety.
- Present strategy, ROI, and progress updates to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Guide product experimentation, balancing strategic planning with fast iteration and value delivery.
- Support enterprise‑wide technology initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with broader business objectives.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in AI technologies, trends, and strategic application.
- Proven product leadership with experience building or leveraging AI products (Gen AI or Agentic AI preferred).
- Strong track record of defining and delivering technology product strategies and roadmaps in SaaS or tech‑driven environments.
- Ability to translate customer/business insights into impactful initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, including influence at senior‑executive level.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and empowering diverse product teams.
- Familiarity with cross‑functional product development processes and rapid experimentation frameworks.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Certifications in Product Management (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute) or Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner) welcome but not mandatory.
