Job Description
Job Title: Head of Infrastructure Role Summary: Senior executive responsible for steering the end-to-end IT infrastructure strategy, operations, and governance across multiple companies. Leads the design, deployment, and integration of cloud (Azure), on‑premises systems, networking, identity, and cybersecurity. Delivers resilient, compliant, and scalable environments to support growth, acquisitions, and service delivery. Expectations: - Build and enforce group‑wide standards for infrastructure, cloud, security and resilience. - Provide independent assurance to executive stakeholders on risk, resilience and compliance. - Manage a budget of £1m+ and oversee vendor/contracts, SLAs and MSP relationships. - Drive post‑acquisition integration and rapid site onboarding to maintain operational continuity. - Maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and ISO27001 readiness. - Report performance, risks and key initiatives to the CIO and external stakeholders (private equity partners). Key Responsibilities: 1. Define and execute a multi‑year infrastructure roadmap (Azure, networking, identity, hosting, endpoint, backup/DR). 2. Lead technical forums, ensuring independent risk and compliance vetting. 3. Oversee day‑to‑day operations of core IT infrastructure across UK sites; guarantee availability, performance and security. 4. Manage internal teams and third‑party MSPs for infrastructure, service desk, cybersecurity and end‑user support. 5. Deliver IT service delivery for new site onboarding, mergers & acquisitions, and rapid integration of newly acquired businesses. 6. Own group standards and reference architectures for endpoint, identity, networking, backup, and disaster recovery. 7. Drive security compliance – Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR, ISO27001 readiness and regulatory frameworks. 8. Maintain and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities. 9. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and budgets. 10. Provide transparent reporting to executive and private‑equity stakeholders on performance, risks and initiatives. Required Skills: - Proven leadership experience in large‑scale infrastructure or IT operations. - Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, on‑prem infrastructure, networking, identity, and cybersecurity. - Experience managing outsourced IT environments and MSPs. - Strong budgeting and financial oversight experience (£1m+). - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and governance skills. - Ability to travel frequently (1‑2 days UK office, 1‑2 days national office). **Job Title** Treasury Operations Analyst (6‑Month Contract) **Role Summary** Support treasury and banking operations by managing end‑to‑end transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting across multiple product lines.
