Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary:
Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable full‑stack ServiceNow solutions. Works closely with product managers, operations, and engineering teams to deliver high‑availability, mission‑critical applications that leverage ServiceNow’s out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and integrate with external systems.
Expectations:
* Deliver production‑ready ServiceNow applications that meet functional, security, and performance requirements.
* Contribute to system design, platform strategy, and process improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation and runbooks.
* Demonstrate strong analytical and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, multi‑directional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement end‑to‑end ServiceNow modules, flows, and integrations using Flow Designer, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
* Configure and extend ServiceNow Out‑of‑the‑Box (OOTB) features and Build custom components where necessary.
* Build secure integrations via MID Server, OAuth, REST, and third‑party APIs.
* Develop and deploy micro‑services and distributed system components on AWS (MSK/Kafka, ECS, S3, IAM, X‑Ray).
* Ensure high availability and performance of mission‑critical ServiceNow applications.
* Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow SDLC best practices.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Keep product documentation, configuration guides, and best‑practice playbooks up‑to‑date.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 8 years of professional ServiceNow development experience.
* Certified ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CSM) or equivalent.
* Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, Flow Designer, Agent/Configurable Workspaces, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord).
* Strong integration experience with MID Server, OAuth, REST, and external systems.
* Proven track record in solution design, architecture, and use of OOTB features.
* Hands‑on experience with AWS services (MSK/Kafka, ECS, S3, IAM, X‑Ray).
* Experience designing distributed systems and high‑availability solutions.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CSM) mandatory.
* Additional AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect) preferred.
