Job Description
**Job Title:** Summer Intern – Software Developer (Cloud Development) **Role Summary:** Join the software development team to support the design, development, and testing of cloud‑based applications. The internship provides hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), code management, unit testing, and collaborative agile practices. **Expectations:** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) program in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; sophomore year or above. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. - Available full‑time (40 hrs/week) from May 18 2026 to August 7 2026. - Unrestricted work authorization and ability to pass background/drug screening. - Willingness to work on‑site in Novi, MI and provide personal housing/transportation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with cloud operations, provisioning, security hardening, and user management. - Contribute to small‑scale projects on CloudHub and related automation tools. - Develop, commit, and review code using GitHub. - Write and execute unit tests; observe QA processes. - Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and pair‑programming sessions. - Help design software features/modules and learn data‑processing techniques. **Required Skills:** - Strong oral and written communication; ability to present to senior staff. - Collaborative mindset with solid interpersonal skills. - Basic programming proficiency (e.g., Java, Python, C#). - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and version control (Git/GitHub). - Understanding of unit testing concepts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Administration, etc.). - No mandatory certifications; cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are advantageous but not required.
