Job Description
**Job Title:** Intern – Integrated Product Services Design **Role Summary:** Assist in all stages of mixed‑signal IC and CMOS imaging design, from specification and architectural design through detailed circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and prototype bring‑up and testing, within a collaborative engineering team. **Expectations:** Produce accurate design deliverables, maintain clear communication with senior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to test automation and characterization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in specification development and architectural design of mixed‑signal circuits. - Create detailed Verilog/VHDL or MATLAB models and perform simulations. - Design and verify PCB/IC layouts, coordinating with fabrication teams. - Bring‑up and test wafers/prototypes in the cleanroom using probe stations. - Operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters) for characterization. - Develop and automate custom test scripts (Python, MATLAB, or C) and document results. - Present findings, progress, and recommendations to senior engineers. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB; experience with Verilog/VHDL or C programming. - Hands‑on knowledge of oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present technical information clearly. - Team‑player mindset with adaptability to varied tasks. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. - Familiarity with IC design tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE) preferred. - No specific certifications required.
