**Job Title**
Module Leader (Electronics)
**Role Summary**
Lead the planning and execution of propulsion‑related electronics modules, specifically the Thruster Control Unit (TCU) and Electrical Demonstration Unit (EDU). Manage end‑to‑end development cycles, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery that meets quality and client expectations. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and production workflows while maintaining rigorous risk management and performance oversight.
**Expectations**
- Deliver completed TCU and EDU projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Maintain high quality standards for designs, documentation, and manufacturing deliverables.
- Provide clear, regular updates to technical, product, and line‑management stakeholders.
- Demonstrate autonomous decision‑making and collaborative conflict resolution.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain master project plans with resource, budget, and milestone allocations.
- Conduct workforce planning and coordinate staffing with line managers.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs): schedule adherence, budget health, quality metrics.
- Prepare and present status reports and performance reviews to senior management.
- Oversee technical quality assurance, including documentation, reviews, and validation.
- Support production implementation of TCU & EDU workflows; lead corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Manage technical follow‑up with subcontracted suppliers; facilitate supplier quality and production compliance.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and foster cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
**Required Skills**
- Technical expertise in spacecraft subsystems: propulsion, power electronics, electronics, high/low‑pressure payloads.
- Project management proficiency: planning, budgeting, lifecycle management, integration, testing, validation.
- Risk assessment and mitigation.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision‑making under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and adaptability.
- Ability to work autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years in space propulsion, mechanics, electronics, embedded software, or fluidic systems.
- At least 2 years managing development projects.
- Preferred experience in space, aeronautical, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or risk management are advantageous.
