Job Description: **Job title:** Java Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend systems that power financial products. Work on green‑field development and enhancement of critical services such as card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity. **Expectations:** - Quick learner, ambitious, result‑driven. - Excellent written and verbal English communication. - Able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to customer‑impacting delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and expose REST APIs and microservices using Java 17+. - Use Spring Boot for rapid, quality delivery. - Develop, test, and deploy code following TDD, DDD, and CI/CD practices. - Optimize and evolve existing systems for scalability, maintainability, and performance. - Work with PostgreSQL to model data and ensure data integrity. - Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions. - Continuously improve code quality and reduce technical debt. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of professional backend development experience. - Proficient in Java and Spring Boot. - Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL. - Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Experience with TDD, DDD, and automated CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with cloud or containerized environments is a plus. - Ability to write clean, maintainable code and adhere to coding standards. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
