Job Description
Job Title: Finance and Accounting Assistant Role Summary: Support the administrative and financial operations of a health‑transport company by managing invoicing, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping for a subsidiary. Expectations: Deliver accurate invoices, enforce compliance, resolve billing disputes, maintain cash flow, and contribute to process improvement within a temporary contract for maternity leave replacement. Key Responsibilities • Issue and validate client invoices in line with contracts, delivery notes and services performed. • Verify legal compliance of invoices (mandatory clauses, VAT, payment terms). • Improve invoicing processes and data reliability. • Resolve billing disputes in collaboration with internal departments. • Handle customer debit operations and follow collections; pursue overdue payments independently. • Coordinate with sales and order‑management teams to ensure smooth client relations (BC/BL follow‑up, missing information). • Assist in the administrative management of client contract files. • Complete full‑entry accounting for one subsidiary. • Support ERP optimisation for billing and provide occasional assistance to management accounting (reconciliation, closing). Required Skills • Proven experience in accounts receivable and customer billing. • Knowledge of invoicing regulations and VAT (including export and intra‑community). • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and priority management. • Customer‑service orientation and clear communication.
