**Job title:** Chief Technology Officer (Co‑Founder & CTO)
**Role Summary:**
Define and execute the technology strategy for a fast‑growing AI‑driven invoicing platform. Lead and scale the tech/data team, architect a secure, high‑performance infrastructure, and oversee the development of AI/ML capabilities. Act as a co‑founder, responsible for technical excellence, compliance, and global expansion readiness.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years engineering experience, with 5 + years in technical leadership.
- Proven track record of scaling a tech team in a startup/scale‑up, ideally within FinTech or B2B SaaS.
- Deep expertise in distributed architecture, cloud, mobile, and security.
- Strong AI/ML background (OCR, NLP, predictive models, LLMs) and product integration.
- PhD or top‑tier engineering school degree (preferred).
- Fluent English, excellent communication, and ability to recruit and mentor talent.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Build, manage, and grow the tech/data team from 5 to 14+ members.
2. Own the technology roadmap, aligning it with growth objectives.
3. Design and maintain a robust, secure, and scalable platform for millions of users.
4. Lead the development of AI/ML stack (OCR, NLP, predictive models, LLMs).
5. Ensure code quality, performance, security, and fintech regulatory compliance.
6. Prepare infrastructure for international expansion and multi‑country operations.
7. Mentor and inspire engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
**Required Skills:**
