**Job Title**
IT Consultant – Cloud Engineering
**Role Summary**
Provide design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure for clients on AWS and GCP. Act as a technical advisor throughout project lifecycles, enabling migrations, performance tuning, and operational excellence in a DevOps culture.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet client business objectives.
- Communicate effectively in English and French, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders and teammates.
- Continuously learn and apply emerging cloud technologies, best‑practice patterns, and industry events.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, implement, and manage AWS and GCP environments using IaC (Terraform) and cloud services.
- Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into efficient, cost‑effective cloud solutions.
- Lead migration strategies, execute data pipelines, and transition on‑premise workloads to the cloud.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, security, and cost; conduct capacity and workload reviews.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents.
- Produce and maintain documentation, runbooks, and best‑practice guides.
- Engage in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Python (and Golang) development.
- Strong SQL expertise; experience with dbt or Dataform and ELT processes.
- Hands‑on with Terraform IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑service orientation.
- Fluent in English and French communication, both technical and business.
- Ability to model data structures and design data warehouses.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Comfortable with code reviews, CI/CD, and collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline.
- Valid certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or infrastructure tooling (HashiCorp/Terraform) are advantageous but not mandatory.
