Job Description
Job Title: Finance Business Partner (FP&A) Role Summary Finance Business Partner supports strategic decision‐making by delivering accurate FP&A reporting, KPI monitoring, forecasting and budgeting for insurance operations. Responsible for integrating financial and actuarial data, driving process improvements, and collaborating closely with business units to embed a culture of financial partnership. Expectations - Deliver dynamic financial plans and forecasts on specified timelines. - Actively engage in continuous process and system improvements. - Provide clear, data‑driven insights to senior stakeholders. - Manage own workload, meet tight deadlines and uphold high quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Develop and refine FP&A reporting and KPI dashboards, integrating financial and actuarial metrics. - Compile regular forecasts, conduct variance analysis against prior year and budgets, and challenge business drivers. - Coordinate budget and forecast cycles with functional leads, ensuring stakeholder alignment. - Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support business line decisions and opportunities. - Oversee treasury functions such as cash‑flow reporting and forecasting (as applicable). - Implement new workflow and system enhancements, designing controls for reporting excellence. - Assist the Finance team with operational and transactional support as needed. Required Skills - Commercial finance experience with demonstrable process‑change contributions. - Advanced data analysis and presentation skills; ability to distill insights into clear messages. - Proficient in MS Excel and financial modelling. - Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Excellent planning, organization and attention to detail. - Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven with capacity to manage independent workload. Required Education & Certifications - ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent). - Preferable insurance sector experience (not mandatory).
