Job Description

Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist Role Summary Lead end‑to‑end procurement for direct materials and indirect services across automotive manufacturing and corporate functions. Own sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and contract management to drive cost savings, quality, and sustainability. Expectations Deliver measurable cost efficiencies while maintaining high service levels. Manage large‑scale sourcing projects independently, provide strategic direction across categories, and support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes. Key Responsibilities - Own full sourcing lifecycle: market analysis, supplier selection, RFx management, and high‑stakes negotiation. - Develop and implement category strategies for Retail Environment, MRO, and chassis components, focusing on sustainability and value. - Draft, review, and enforce commercial contracts and service‑level agreements. - Govern supplier performance, KPI and SLA compliance, and continuous improvement. - Resolve complex supply‑chain disruptions and technical specification challenges. - Mentor and provide peer review for junior procurement staff. - Act as liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and global partners to align procurement with business objectives. Required Skills - 3+ years procurement experience (5+ for senior role). - Expertise in RFx, cost analysis, and legal risk mitigation. - Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and MS Excel. - Strong influencing and stakeholder communication skills across cultures and time zones. - Ability to adapt strategy in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. - CIPS Level 4 or higher (preferable).
