Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Machine Learning Engineer, AI Foundations **Role Summary:** Lead applied research and development of large deep‑learning foundation models for autonomous driving. Design, train, evaluate, and deploy state‑of‑the‑art models that improve safety and performance across diverse driving conditions. **Expectations:** - Deliver production‑ready ML solutions that advance autonomous vehicle capabilities. - Communicate research findings to cross‑functional teams. - Maintain high code quality, rigorous testing, and clear documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct research in reinforcement learning, learning‑from‑demonstration, generative modeling, Bayesian inference, and hierarchical learning. - Design and run experiments, train large neural networks, and evaluate model performance on real and simulated driving data. - Write robust, well‑documented Python code; create unit tests and maintain code repositories. - Collaborate with software engineering and deployment teams to integrate models into production pipelines. - Iterate on model architecture and training procedures based on experimentation and stakeholder feedback. **Required Skills:** - Master’s or Ph.D. in deep learning, machine learning, or related field. - Strong statistical and ML theory foundation. - Proficiency in Python and experience with JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. - 3+ years of developing and training modern deep‑learning models. - Ability to write clean, maintainable code with unit tests. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or Ph.D. degree in deep learning, machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline. ---
