Job Description
**Job Title:** Settlement & Treasury Analyst – Internship **Role Summary:** Junior intern supporting back‑office back‑office functions for FX and payment operations. Responsible for following client transactions, managing settlements with liquidity providers, resolving payment issues via SWIFT, and providing expertise to front‑office and clients. **Expectations:** - Complete tasks accurately and on time. - Communicate clearly with colleagues and commercial partners. - Demonstrate detail orientation and analytical thinking. - Show initiative in learning platform technology and treasury processes. - Attend on‑site sessions in Brussels regularly and sometimes work remotely. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and reconcile client FX trades and payments. - Coordinate settlement of FX operations with liquidity providers. - Handle payment–related issues with financial institution partners via SWIFT messaging. - Support front‑office by advising clients on payment and settlement matters. - Participate in process improvement and platform development activities. **Required Skills:** - Strong numerical literacy and meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French or Dutch an advantage. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving environment. - Proactive attitude towards problem‑solving and learning new technologies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Economics, or related field. ---
