**Job Title**: Cyber Incident Lead **Role Summary**: Lead the identification, response, and recovery of cyber incidents across the organization’s estate. Operate as part of a 24/7 on‑call function, managing incident response processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and enhancing digital forensics and threat intelligence capabilities. **Expectations**: - Manage incidents around the clock, ensuring timely containment, eradication, and recovery. - Develop, maintain, and continually improve incident response playbooks and procedures. - Communicate complex technical findings to senior leaders, business units, and external partners. - Perform risk assessments under ambiguous conditions and prioritize actions under pressure. - Build and sustain relationships with internal cyber teams, operating companies, and suppliers. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery. - Maintain incident response processes and playbooks; drive continuous improvement. - Present incident analyses and recommendations to diverse stakeholder audiences. - Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations using MITRE ATT&CK framework. - Support the development of in‑house digital forensics capabilities; assist investigation teams. - Collaborate with cyber teams to refine security tool configurations and assess deployed controls. - Liaise with IAG operating companies to respond to cross‑company incidents; share IoCs, threat intelligence, and lessons learned. - Manage relationships and performance of suppliers involved in the incident response lifecycle. **Required Skills**: - Strong analytical, methodical, and detail‑oriented approach. - Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for varied audiences. - Ability to remain calm, prioritize, and execute under pressure. - Proficiency in incident response methodology and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. - Experience coordinating with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Relevant cyber incident response experience in a large, complex organization. - Digital forensics experience preferred (desirable). - Cyber security qualification desirable (e.g., GIAC Incident Handler). - Understanding of aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure is a plus.
