**Job Title:** Principal Product Manager, AI Video-Based Safety Platform
**Role Summary:** Lead the long‑term vision, roadmap, and technical direction for a next‑generation AI‑powered video safety product. Own cross‑functional strategy, drive large‑scale machine learning and computer vision initiatives, influence executive decisions, and mentor junior product leaders to deliver category‑creating solutions that enhance worker safety and generate substantial revenue growth.
**Expactations:**
- Develop and execute 3‑5‑year strategic vision for the platform.
- Set technical direction for AI/ML systems, including foundation models, edge inference, and data annotation pipelines.
- Communicate vision and obtain priority funding across engineering, data science, and executive teams.
- Mentor and coach PMs and technical leads within Safety.
- Champion company culture and ensure scalable execution at global scale.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and metrics for the Video‑Based Safety platform.
- Translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into high‑impact product specifications.
- Drive technical trade‑offs on model architecture, training, and deployment at massive scale.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and research to deliver robust, real‑time AI solutions.
- Lead cross‑functional alignment on resource allocation, long‑term investments, and partnership decisions.
- Influence executive leadership on vision, strategy, and capital commitments.
- Provide thought leadership and technical advocacy to external customers and partners.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years progressive product management experience, including multi‑product, multi‑year platform strategy.
- Proven track record of shipping MVPs and mature products that transformed markets or organizations.
- Deep experience with machine learning, computer vision, or large‑scale IoT data pipelines.
- Strong technical acumen to evaluate model architecture, training regimes, edge inference, and deployment pipelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Leadership ability to mentor PMs, foster best practices, and drive cultural principles.
- Strategic thinking, analytical problem solving, and data‑driven decision making.
- Comfortable operating in high‑ambiguity, fast‑growth environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Undergraduate or graduate degree (MS, PhD, MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Certifications in AI/ML frameworks, product management, or relevant technical leadership (e.g., PM credentials, AWS/Google Cloud AI, or similar) are a plus.
