Job Description
Project Quality Manager - Solar Role Summary: Ensures compliance with quality standards for ground-mounted solar farm projects through monitoring, documentation, and implementation of a Project Quality Management System (PQMS). Collaborates with contractors, suppliers, and interdisciplinary teams to enforce regulatory and contractual requirements. Expectations: Requires prior experience managing large-scale ground-mounted solar farm projects; ideal for a 10-month assignment starting March 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and monitor PQMS compliance across project lifecycle stages - Create and review quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and audit documentation - Conduct contractor/supplier audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards - Document and resolve non-conformances with corrective actions to prevent recurrence - Generate bi-weekly quality risk reports and status updates for stakeholders - Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, HSE, and Project Management teams to align on quality compliance - Implement process improvements via lessons learned, digital tools, and best practices Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Quality Manager in ground-mounted solar farms - Proficiency in SharePoint for documentation tracking - Valid UK driving license - Expertise in audit methodologies, quality compliance, and solar construction standards Required Education & Certifications: Not specified. Relevant technical or engineering background advantageous.
