**Job Title**
Medical Science Liaison – Emerging Therapies (International)
**Role Summary**
Serve as the scientific bridge between the company and external stakeholders for pre‑clinical and early‑phase pipeline products in immunology. Provide accurate, non‑promotional scientific information, build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across Europe, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East, and support the development of medical strategies, research collaborations, and educational initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Act as the recognized subject‑matter expert for emerging pipeline assets.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal policies.
- Deliver timely, high‑quality scientific exchange and education to healthcare professionals.
- Travel internationally (approximately 30‑40 % of time) for face‑to‑face KOL meetings, advisory boards, and scientific conferences.
- Contribute to the identification of research projects, publications, and medical evidence that support product development and future launches.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Conduct scientific discussions and present data to KOLs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Australia, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
2. Identify and map disease‑specific KOLs/HCPs to build a cross‑specialty network for current and future indications.
3. Initiate and support high‑impact medical activities (advisory boards, symposia, hospital meetings, speaker programs).
4. Facilitate research collaborations, white papers, and publication opportunities aligned with company objectives.
5. Respond to scientific and clinical inquiries from the healthcare community with compliance‑driven accuracy.
6. Provide internal training on therapeutic areas, pipeline assets, and emerging scientific trends.
7. Contribute insights to medical strategy development for pre‑launch and early‑stage products.
8. Supervise expert relationships and center activities across designated European countries.
9. Attend relevant international conferences to gather and disseminate emerging data.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of immunology and emerging therapeutic modalities (e.g., Fc‑receptor blockers).
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities, both oral and written.
- Proven experience engaging with KOLs and multidisciplinary scientific teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess clinical data and identify research opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving, compliance‑focused environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills (Dutch, French, Arabic) advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally (≈30‑40 % travel).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, immunology, pharmacology, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or scientific liaison roles (typically ≥3 years).
- Completion of relevant compliance and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training (company‑provided or equivalent).
