**Job Title:** Senior Technical Architect
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain adaptable, cloud‑native enterprise architectures for digital banking products. Operate within an Agile product team, ensuring solutions align with LCL’s strategic IT framework, promote micro‑service, event‑driven, and API‑centric patterns, and leverage public cloud (AWS, GCP) and AI capabilities.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 + years of progressive experience as Tech Lead and Technical/Software Architect.
- Proven ability to drive architectural decisions in large‑scale, regulated financial environments.
- Strong collaboration in Agile squads and with a community of architects.
- Capacity to lead modernization and optimization initiatives, especially cloud migration and micro‑service adoption.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and evolve application and technology architectures for banking domains (payments, credit, CRM, etc.).
- Create, own, and continuously improve solution blueprints, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and lead cross‑functional modernization projects.
- Champion adoption of public‑cloud services (AWS, GCP) and AI/ML tooling.
- Guide implementation of API management (Kong, Apigee) and identity/access protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth2).
- Oversee DevOps pipelines (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Advise on data platform design, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) stores, event streaming (Kafka, CDC, MQSeries).
- Mentor team members and contribute to the Chapter’s knowledge‑sharing community.
**Required Skills:**
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
- Architecture patterns: Micro‑services, Domain‑Driven Design, CQRS, Event‑driven.
- API design and management: REST, Kong, Apigee, OpenID Connect/OAuth2.
- DevOps & containerization: Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Data technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, CDC, MQSeries.
- Java/JEE ecosystem, Spring Boot; Web frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js, Bootstrap.
- Operating systems & servers: Linux, Windows, Tomcat, WebSphere.
- Optional: IBM Mainframe knowledge.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
