Job Description
Job Title: ORACLE Data Migration Analyst Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end data migration for ERP implementations, ensuring data integrity and alignment with functional requirements. Utilize Oracle, SQL/PLSQL, and BI tools to extract, transform, load, and validate business data, converting functional specifications into technical solutions. Expectations: - Deliver comprehensive migration plans and data quality assessments. - Provide actionable insights from data analysis to stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute data migration scripts (SQL/PLSQL) for Oracle databases. - Perform data profiling, cleansing, and mapping between legacy and target systems. - Validate migrated data against business rules and functional specifications. - Collaborate with functional teams to translate COA, GL, vendor, customer, and project requirements into technical requirements. - Create and maintain documentation for migration procedures, data flows, and validation reports. - Utilize BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) to generate dashboards and reports for data quality monitoring. - Conduct impact analysis and risk assessment for migration activities. - Support post‑go‑live data reconciliation and issue resolution. Required Skills: - 8+ years of experience in ERP implementation and data migration. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle. - Strong knowledge of relational database design, data structures, and validation techniques. - Expertise with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel). - Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification is preferred. - Certification in data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist) is an advantage.
