Job Description

Job title: Technical Lead Role Summary Lead the development of a mature AI product, beginning with internal delivery and expanding to client implementation. Drive end‑to‑end software engineering, maintain product quality, and ensure scalability and security. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code on schedule. - Align engineering efforts with product strategy and client needs. - Maintain strong professional standards and secure data handling. - Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentorship within the team. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy AI features using Python and FastAPI. - Build and optimize database schemas (SQL) for performance and security. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Collaborate with product owners to refine requirements and user stories. - Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews. - Support clients during deployment and integration of the AI product. - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards. Required Skills - Proficient in Python, FastAPI, and RESTful API design. - Strong experience in relational database design and SQL. - Knowledge of scalable system architecture and micro‑services. - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools. - Familiarity with front‑end technologies (TypeScript, React) is a plus. - Experience in data‑driven applications, SaaS platforms, or cyber security. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - SC clearance required; alternatively, British citizenship with eligibility for clearance. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - SC security clearance or eligibility for it; British citizenship preferred. - Technical certifications (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, etc.) are advantageous.
