**Job Title** Internship – Algorithms & Applications Team (Quantum Computing) **Role Summary** Six‑month research‑development internship focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating photonic quantum algorithms using Quandela’s SDK (Perceval and MerLin). The role involves literature review, algorithm design, software implementation, and communicating results to the team. **Expectations** - Start by February 2026 (internship spans 6 months). - Enrolled in a university programme (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related) at master’s level during the internship. - Demonstrated interest or experience in quantum computing and quantum algorithms. - Availability to work in a collaborative, research‑oriented environment with possible remote collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Conduct literature reviews and understand scientific publications related to quantum machine learning, quantum Monte‑Carlo, and classical shadow techniques. 2. Design new quantum algorithms and propose innovations within the team’s research agenda. 3. Implement algorithms in Perceval and MerLin SDKs, ensuring scalability and efficiency. 4. Prepare and deliver presentations and written reports summarizing findings and progress. 5.
