Job Description

Job Title: Google AppSheet Developer (Contract) Role Summary: Build and deploy a Google AppSheet application that replaces an existing Excel tool, serving as a global CAPEX financial reporting dashboard for logistics transformation projects. Expectations: Complete a fully functional, user‑friendly app within a one‑month contract, delivering role‑based access control and permissions, and aligning closely with the business owner’s evolving requirements. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and test AppSheet solutions to replace current Excel workflows. - Create a finance reporting dashboard (CAPEX) tied to logistics projects worldwide. - Implement role‑based visibility and edit permissions. - Focus on intuitive UI/UX design to enhance end‑user experience. - Collaborate in an Agile environment with limited upfront specs, iterating with the business owner. Required Skills - Advanced proficiency with Google AppSheet, including data model design, UI customization, and formula logic. - Experience building business applications that replace Excel tools. - Knowledge of role‑based access control and permissions management. - Strong UI/UX design sense. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and iterative development. - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Google AppSheet certification or demonstrated AppSheet expertise is preferred.
