Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce Developer (SC Cleared) Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions for a high‑profile public sector digital transformation program. Work within a secure government environment, handling custom development, integrations, and data migration on the Salesforce platform under an IR35 umbrella contract. Expectations: - Hold an active Security Clearance – SC, with willingness to transfer it before commencement. - Operate primarily remote with occasional travel to London. - Deliver high‑quality code, documentation, and testing within agreed timelines. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (project managers, business analysts, QA). Key Responsibilities: - Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, and Visualforce/Lightning components. - Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules. - Design and implement data migration and integration workflows using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and third‑party connectors. - Write comprehensive unit tests (≥75% coverage) and perform peer code reviews. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues. - Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and deployment guides. Required Skills: - Strong programming in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Aura components. - Proficient with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce SDKs. - Experience with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. - Knowledge of JSON, XML, and integration patterns. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. - Salesforce Platform Developer I; Platform Developer II (preferred). - Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder (preferred). - Current Security Clearance – SC, with a clear intent to transfer.
