Job Description: **Job title** Principal Solution Engineer, Cloud and AI **Role Summary** Drive AI transformation by merging business and technical requirements into scalable, secure solutions. Lead customer engagements, design end‑to‑end architectures, and collaborate across product and sales teams to align Microsoft data platforms with client needs. **Expectations** - Be the authoritative voice on AI platform trends and strategies. - Deliver technical engagements that validate solutions and guide technology selection. - Own and execute AI transformation roadmaps for targeted accounts. - Maintain deep expertise in Microsoft data and AI services. - Serve as the bridge between technical and sales leadership to secure new opportunities. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and deliver business & solution envisioning sessions, architecture design workshops, and rapid prototypes. - Prioritize and guide AI use‑case journeys through business envisioning. - Own strategic vision for AI initiatives on key accounts, coordinating cross‑functional teams. - Design comprehensive solution architectures that address security, performance and scalability. - Integrate capabilities across the entire cloud platform, identifying synergies and optimization opportunities. - Maintain and grow expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, AI Foundry, Azure Purview, and Microsoft 365. - Lead creation of field‑relevant assets and thought leadership for sales enablement. **Required Skills** - 7+ years in technical pre‑sales or consulting (or equivalent). - 5+ years as a Solution Architect with hands‑on experience in Microsoft data products. - Strong expertise in AI, cloud architecture, data governance, compliance, and security. - Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Self‑motivated, growth‑oriented, and capable of leading change initiatives. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **plus** 6+ years of pre‑sales/consulting experience, **or** - Master’s degree in the same fields **plus** 4+ years of experience, **or** equivalent. - Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Data Platform Specialist, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
