**Job Title:** Software Engineer – AI/ML (AI Platform)
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and productionize end‑to‑end AI‑native products and core platform components (LLMs, agentic frameworks, tooling) for a wealth‑technology SaaS platform. Own the full product lifecycle from prototype through scalable backend services, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver AI capabilities that meet performance and client‑impact goals.
**Expectations:**
- 1–3+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Proven ability to ship and maintain AI‑driven features or strong personal AI project portfolio.
- Strong bias for rapid iteration, ownership, and continuous learning in a fast‑moving AI environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement end‑to‑end AI products, from prototyping to production‑grade services.
- Build and productionize core AI platform components: LLM integration, vector databases, prompt tuning, agentic frameworks, and cross‑platform tool usage (e.g., web browsing, computer interaction).
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Go, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Iterate on AI features using performance metrics and user feedback to improve accuracy and usability.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks, recommending adoption to keep the platform at the industry forefront.
- Partner with product managers and other engineering squads to translate strategic objectives into technical implementations while abstracting AI complexity.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in Python and Golang; experience with gRPC, AWS services, Kubernetes, and microservice architectures.
- Systems‑level understanding of backend scalability, APIs, and concurrency.
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs and related ecosystems (vector stores, prompt engineering).
- Familiarity with agentic systems and tool‑use integration.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, **or** equivalent professional experience.
*Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:*
- Direct experience with LLMs and agentic architectures.
- Use of modern AI tooling such as LangChain, Databricks, MLflow.
- Deep knowledge of probabilistic foundations of LLMs.
- Experience delivering AI solutions in high‑accuracy, regulated domains (e.g., finance).
