Job Description
Job title: Unity Developer (F/M) Role Summary: Experienced Unity developer responsible for UI integration, asset import, and performance optimization in a confidential turn‑based strategy game, collaborating across art, design, and technical teams. Expactations: • Minimum 3 years of commercial game development with at least one released project. • Proven portfolio demonstrating Unity and C# expertise. • Freelance, self‑paced work with strong teamwork and communication skills. • Autonomous, responsible and proactive in proposing solutions. Key Responsibilities: ‑ Design, develop and integrate user interfaces in Unity, adhering to design mock‑ups and technical constraints. ‑ Import and bind graphical assets, audio, and animations into the Unity pipeline. ‑ Connect UI components to core game systems, validating functionality and ensuring seamless interaction. ‑ Optimize UI performance, troubleshoot, and maintain stability. ‑ Coordinate with art, design, and technical teams to preserve visual and functional coherence. ‑ Contribute to other technical areas (gameplay, internal tools) as required. Required Skills: ‑ Advanced proficiency in Unity and C#. ‑ In‑depth knowledge of UI pipelines, asset import workflows, and integration best practices. ‑ Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving capabilities. ‑ Excellent communication, organization, and a collaborative mindset. ‑ Preferred: experience in 3D animation, rendering, or GPU shader development. Required Education & Certifications: ‑ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related discipline. ‑ Demonstrated release of at least one commercially available game.
