Job Description
**Job title:** Product Manager – Broadcast **Role Summary:** Responsible for defining, prioritising and delivering broadcast‑technology products that support live studio and production environments. Leads product strategy, collaborates with UX, engineering, procurement and legal teams, and drives agile delivery and continuous improvement. **Expectations:** - Own product vision aligned with group strategy. - Manage a cross‑functional roadmap, backlog and release cadence. - Champion user‑centric design, metrics and stakeholder alignment. - Ensure quality, compliance, and on‑time delivery across all broadcast systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and communicate the product roadmap in line with corporate goals. - Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and manage the product backlog with user‑stories. - Work with UX experts to iterate user journeys and gather end‑user feedback. - Develop and monitor business KPIs, usage metrics and continuous improvement indicators. - Evaluate and validate requirements with procurement and legal during vendor RFPs. - Negotiate scope with stakeholders, ensuring requests deliver user value and align with strategy. - Collaborate with integration and support teams to oversee solution implementation, testing and production deployment. - Drive post‑go‑live monitoring, incident resolution and user training. - Promote Agile best practices across the production team and maintain a transparent product dashboard. - Contribute to process and application simplification initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5 years as Product Manager or similar role in broadcast/AV/IT systems. - Proficient in SDI, Dante, ST2110, and familiarity with SSL, VIZRT, Sony, Panasonic, Grass Valley, Disguise, EVS. - Strong understanding of live studio production workflows: planning, shooting, post‑production, graphics, live on‑air. - Agile product ownership experience (Scrum/SAFe); backlog management, sprint planning, release management. - Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and change‑management skills. - Analytical mindset: define metrics, analyse data, derive actionable insights. - Self‑motivated, highly organised, collaborative, client‑focused. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Audiovisual Engineering, Media Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Product Management certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing) is a plus.
