Job Description
**Job Title** Business Development Associate – Private Equity **Role Summary** Lead growth initiatives for a portfolio of private equity clients by onboarding new users, boosting adoption of research products, and expanding the client’s internal user footprint. Work closely with Account Managers and Client Services to align engagement strategies with renewal and renewal objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable revenue and usage growth within the book of business. - Demonstrate full suite of products to new users, ensuring rapid, sticky adoption. - Identify and pursue cross‑sell and upsell opportunities. - Consistently exceed performance targets and maintain strong client satisfaction. - Act autonomously, balancing proactive outreach with reactive account issues. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor client activity; proactively engage new or inactive users to drive product adoption. - Introduce existing and new Third Bridge products and services to new client users. - Partner with Client Services and Account Management to align engagement strategies with renewal plans. - Identify growth opportunities (new teams, cross‑sell) within assigned accounts. - Support new client acquisition efforts through stakeholder interactions and onboarding. - Communicate value proposition to end users, key stakeholders, and decision‑makers throughout the deal lifecycle. - Build and manage relationships with client users to achieve subscription utilization goals. - Apply qualitative and quantitative problem‑solving to enhance client experience and retention. - Conduct retention and risk analysis, providing insights on engagement metrics. - Originate user expansion opportunities for Account Managers to up‑sell and cross‑sell. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and drive product improvement. - Collect, analyze, and share client feedback and market intelligence with relevant stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Proven client‑facing experience and strong client‑first mindset. - Self‑starter with ability to work independently and within a team. - Exceptional communication, collaboration, prioritization, and influencing skills. - Demonstrated problem‑solving and relationship‑building capabilities. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage both proactive and reactive work. - Track record of exceeding sales targets and growing accounts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional certifications in sales, account management, or finance are a plus.
