Job title: AI Research Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize AI opportunities in digital products, collaborating with product teams.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, reproducible AI models and systems for large‑scale user bases.
- Pursue cutting‑edge research: evaluate new models, techniques, and emerging domains; translate breakthroughs into production.
- Own the full data lifecycle: acquisition, labeling, loading, and management to ensure clean, high‑quality datasets.
- Set clear priorities, manage execution timelines, and deliver high‑quality outputs in ambiguous or fast‑changing environments.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Python (and relevant ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Experience building production‑grade ML pipelines, including CI/CD for model deployment.
- Strong data engineering: ETL, feature engineering, labeling workflows, data versioning, and governance.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, loss functions, optimization, and evaluation metrics.
- Ability to conduct rapid experimentation, hyper‑parameter tuning, and model interpretability.
- Excellent analytical, abstract thought, and detail orientation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory).
- Professional certifications in machine learning or AI (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, AWS Certified Machine Learning) are a plus.
