Job Description
Job title: Regional Sales Manager, Automated Stores – France, Spain, Italy, Benelux & Portugal (FSIBP) Role Summary: Own commercial strategy and revenue growth for automated storage solutions across the EMEA region. Lead account management, cultivate new business, and collaborate with marketing and technical teams to deliver integrated laboratory automation solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and government clients. Expectations: - Achieve or exceed annual sales targets within a 50% travel commitment. - Manage multi‑year Capex projects and long sales cycles in regulated (GxP) environments. - Demonstrate consultative, solution‑centric selling with upselling and cross‑selling of biobanking technologies. - Maintain high‑level customer and partner relationships and report on market intelligence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute regional commercial plans, aligning with corporate objectives. 2. Drive new business acquisition and convert prospects into sales pipeline. 3. Build, manage, and mentor a distributed account‑management team to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. 4. Serve as technical and subject‑matter expert on cold chain, GxP, storage workflows, and supply‑chain integration. 5. Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, and trade‑show presence. 6. Coordinate with Inside Sales, Account Managers, and technical specialists to close deals. 7. Present at national and international conferences, representing the company and gathering market insights. 8. Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and Salesforce data integrity. Required Skills: - Proven track record in life‑sciences equipment or laboratory automation sales. - Deep knowledge of automated storage solutions, biobanking, and regulated laboratory workflows. - Ability to navigate complex Capex projects and multi‑cycle sales processes. - Skilled in consultative, cross‑selling, and solution selling. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and business‑driven mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication; confidence in cross‑functional collaboration. - Fluency in English; proficiency in French essential; knowledge of additional EU languages a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience is preferred. - Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel up to 50% regionally. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
