**Job Title:** AWS Platform Lead (DevOps)
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned cloud leader responsible for directing a team of AWS engineers and architects, shaping cloud adoption and migration strategies, and delivering secure, scalable AWS infrastructures. Provides hands‑on technical guidance, oversees automation, CI/CD pipelines, and ensures alignment with business objectives.
**Expectations:**
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary cloud team.
- Define and execute cloud strategy and migration roadmaps.
- Deliver high‑quality, well‑architected AWS solutions on schedule.
- Drive automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Collaborate across DevOps, Security, and Development functions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Leadership & Strategy** – Set vision for cloud adoption, manage a team of AWS engineers/architects, align solutions with enterprise goals.
2. **Technical Delivery** – Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS environments; conduct Well‑Architected Framework reviews; oversee monitoring and performance tuning.
3. **Project & People Management** – Plan timelines, allocate resources, track delivery milestones, provide mentorship and technical coaching.
4. **Automation & Innovation** – Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation; establish CI/CD pipelines; evaluate emerging AWS services and integrate where beneficial.
5. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** – Partner with DevOps, Security, and Application Development teams to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven leadership of AWS engineering teams (5+ years).
- Deep expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Strong CI/CD knowledge (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
- Cloud security best practices and governance.
- Performance optimization and cost‑management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with onsite presence 2‑3 days/week.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional **or** AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Terraform Associate, CISSP) are a plus.
