ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and low‑code tools. Deliver rapid prototypes and full‑stack solutions in an agile environment, ensuring alignment with business strategy and platform standards. Collaborate closely with product teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
**Expactations**
- 10+ years of ServiceNow development experience, 7+ in ServiceNow App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and platform fundamentals.
- Proven track record of building low‑code applications, employee/HRSD, ITSM, and knowledge management solutions.
- Ability to lead sprint planning, deliver demos, and write comprehensive documentation.
- Strong technical communication, bilingual English/French preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Consult with product owners and clients to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and advanced scripting.
- Architect and maintain data models, forms, ACLs, workflows, and integrations (Integration Hub, REST/Web Services).
- Create UI Builder pages, Service Portal widgets, and Next Experience components.
- Develop test plans and execute unit, integration, and UAT tests to validate functionality.
- Produce and maintain design and technical documentation for all projects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, demos) and deliver rapid prototypes.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and accessibility guidelines.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow tables, security, ACLs, and scripting (JavaScript).
- Low‑code development, UI Builder, Service Portal widgets, and Next Experience.
- Integration Hub, REST/Web services, and Performance Analytics configuration.
- Azure DevOps pipelines and source‑control (Git).
- Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and rapid delivery.
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and user‑training skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- College diploma or university degree in an IT discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or System Administrator (mandatory).
- Additional certifications (e.g., ServiceNow ITIL, ServiceNow Extension Framework) are a plus.
