Job Title: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consultant
Role Summary:
Provide end‑to‑end project coordination for AI initiatives, aligning client requirements with technical delivery across multiple AI projects.
Expectations:
- Deliverable assurance, on‑time project closure, and consistent quality standards.
- Independent stakeholder communication while supporting the AI Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily client communication: capture requirements, clarify queries, deliver progress updates, and report risks and decisions.
2. Assist the project manager in planning and tracking across multiple AI projects: maintain project plans, action logs, RAID logs, and status reports.
3. Translate client needs into actionable tasks; collaborate with technical leads to monitor execution against timelines and scope.
4. Resolve delivery issues, unblock dependencies, and enforce corrective actions.
5. Support quality assurance: facilitate reviews, testing, validation, and documentation compliance with delivery standards.
6. Promote knowledge sharing: record lessons learned, develop playbooks, and create reusable assets.
7. Coordinate cross‑service activities across AI strategy, custom models, process optimisation, policy optimisation, and data standardisation/tagging.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience coordinating technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills: project plans, action/RAID logs, documentation management.
- Hands‑on familiarity with AI/data, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data platforms, and analytics/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to translate technical architectures into clear tasks and follow‑ups for delivery teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including technical specialists and business clients.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented problem solving.
- Proficiency with collaboration and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
- Experience with distributed, international teams and fast‑moving project priorities.
- Knowledge of industrial or maritime operational contexts and regulatory constraints is advantageous.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical/engineering‑focused environment supporting structured project delivery.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
