Job Description
Job Title: Architecture and Engineering Enablement Intern Role Summary: Assist the Architecture and Engineering team in documenting system and application designs, creating diagrams and reference materials, supporting proof‑of‑concept work, and improving technical documentation. Collaborate with application, data, and platform teams to promote consistent engineering practices. Expectations: • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field. • Completed at least one academic term before the internship starts. • Authorized to work in the United States. • Demonstrated strong written communication skills and a keen interest in system design, patterns, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: • Document system and application designs in clear, concise formats. • Create diagrams, reference materials, and other documentation artifacts. • Support proof‑of‑concept initiatives, capture results, and analyze findings. • Organize and enhance existing technical documentation. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (application, data, platform) to gather requirements and feedback. Required Skills: • Excellent written communication and technical writing. • Basic understanding of system concepts such as APIs, data flows, and cloud fundamentals. • Ability to learn and apply design patterns and architectural principles. • Proficiency in diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io) and documentation platforms. Required Education & Certifications: • Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline. • Completed at least one academic term prior to internship commencement. • U.S. work authorization.
