Job Description: **Job Title:** R&D Python Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure Python/Django services for a SaaS platform extending device protection to unmanaged endpoints. Drive architecture decisions, integrate third‑party SSO/MFA solutions, and ensure high performance, security, and maintainability of critical applications. **Expectations:** - Deliver production‑ready, scalable features within Agile sprint cycles. - Maintain high code quality and robust testing standards. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Owners, DevOps, and security teams. - Continuously improve architecture, performance, and documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop new features in Django (ORM, migrations, Django‑REST‑Framework). - Own technical architecture decisions and recommend technology choices. - Integrate SSO/MFA into existing platform and enhance SSE capabilities. - Optimize database queries, design schemas and maintain PostgreSQL performance. - Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, Docker deployments, and automated tests (unit, integration, end‑to‑end). - Conduct rigorous code reviews; enforce coding standards and maintain complete documentation. - Work within Agile/Scrum, participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Share best practices and mentor junior engineers. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years Python development in production environments. - Deep expertise in Django (MVT, DRF, ORM, migrations). - Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL) with query optimization. - DevOps tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring & logging. - Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments and distributed systems. - Familiarity with security concepts, especially SSO/MFA integration. - Agile development experience and ability to work in a collaborative, multilingual team. - Proficient in English (both written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in Computer Science or related field. - Certifications in Python/Django or cloud platforms are a plus.
