Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Control Systems Engineer Role Summary: Entry‑level engineer tasked with designing, implementing, and testing control system solutions for advanced automotive or high‑performance components, supporting a cross‑functional engineering team. Expectations: Deliver functional control algorithms, conduct bench and field testing, document design changes, collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and validate control system designs (PID, state‑space, robust control). - Build and troubleshoot prototypes using microcontrollers, PLCs, or real‑time OS platforms. - Perform signal conditioning, sensor integration, and data acquisition. - Write and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and failure analysis reports. - Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure control solutions meet performance and reliability targets. - Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause investigations. Required Skills: - Solid foundation in control theory, differential equations, and linear algebra. - Programming proficiency (C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink). - Experience with embedded real‑time systems and diagnostic tools. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication for technical documentation and cross‑team collaboration. - Familiarity with automotive or high‑performance mechanical systems is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Coursework or projects in control systems, mechatronics, or embedded systems. - Certifications such as Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or relevant software tool proficiencies (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) are desirable.
