Job title: Technical-Functional Systems Engineer (SI)
Role Summary:
Bridging business and technology to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. Works in Agile environments, translating business requirements into functional specifications, functional and automated testing, and clean, scalable code across front‑end, back‑end, and API layers.
Expectations:
- Deliver end‑to‑end solutions that meet functional, quality, and performance standards.
- Act as a liaison between product owners, business users, and engineering teams.
- Continuously improve architecture, testing, and deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements; create functional specifications, user stories, and business rules.
- Participate in Agile workshops, stand‑ups, and backlog refinement.
- Design and analyze complex software architectures and data flows.
- Develop testing strategy: plans, scripts, functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Execute tests, log and track defects in Jira/Xray, and verify fixes.
- Contribute to API testing (Postman) and automated UI tests (Cypress, Selenium).
- Develop or enhance backend services (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python) and front‑end components (Angular, React, or similar).
- Apply Clean Architecture, Domain‑Driven Design, and micro‑services principles to improve scalability.
- Set up or optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and cloud deployments on AWS or GCP.
- Build internal tooling and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Produce clear, structured documentation for technical and functional audiences.
- Support change management and operational quality assurance.
Required Skills:
Technical: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React, or Django; SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis); API testing (Postman); Test automation (Cypress, Selenium); Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS/GCP cloud services.
Functional: Requirement analysis, functional specification writing, business rule modeling, Agile facilitation, stakeholder communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven experience in software development, testing, and architecture.
- Certifications in Agile (Scrum Master/Product Owner), Cloud (AWS, GCP), or relevant frameworks are an asset.
