Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure PKI and related software solutions on Linux platforms. Drive automation, continuous delivery pipelines, and modernization initiatives to enhance mission-critical security capabilities. Collaborate across development, architecture, testing, and operations teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable software. **Expectations** - Minimum 14 years of professional software engineering experience in comparable programs or contracts. - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. - Willingness to travel as required. - Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of engaging with cross‑functional stakeholders and end users. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Advance next‑generation PKI architecture, applying commercial and government best practices for secure key management. 2. Plan, implement, and evolve PKI solution sets within existing modernization efforts. 3. Define tools and processes for continuous delivery pipelines, including build, deployment, testing, and monitoring. 4. Apply modern software design patterns and methodology in all development activities. 5. Develop Linux‑based applications, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements and constraints. 6. Conduct development, build, and sprint planning to meet project milestones. 7. Advocate and implement automation across build, deployment, testing, and update processes. 8. Coordinate with engineering, architecture, and testing teams to align development with system goals. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Java, SpringBoot, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Strong experience with Linux operating systems. - Expertise in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with secure software development practices and cybersecurity constraints. - Ability to design and implement secure PKI solutions. - Experience in sprint and build planning. - Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field *or* four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
