Job Description

**Job Title:** WXperience 2026 IT Summer Intern Program **Role Summary:** Technical support intern for a 10‑week summer program. Work within the IT team to build and deploy machines, troubleshoot Windows and VPN connectivity, maintain and upgrade hardware, and support cross‑departmental projects. **Expectations:** - Commit to a 10‑week engagement, June‑August. - Deliver 32‑40 work hours weekly. - Demonstrate leadership, multitasking, and teamwork. - Maintain professional, detail‑oriented approach. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and configure workstations, including hardware upgrades (motherboards, components). - Deploy and maintain applications; handle application troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows, VPN, and network connectivity. - Prepare and organize cable management for clean, professional installations. - Collaborate across multiple departments, providing IT support to project teams. - Support hardware inventory, maintenance recordings, and documentation of procedures. **Required Skills:** - Strong organizational and project management capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Teamwork orientation and collaborative mindset. - Proven leadership experience (e.g., clubs, projects). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Basic knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting, VPN, and network connectivity. - Ability to physically lift and move up to 40 lbs; stand, bend, and walk as needed. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Rising senior or 2026 college graduate in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering). - No specific certifications required; coursework or experience in IT, networking, or computer repair preferred.
