Job Description: Job title: Apartment Host – Event Operations Role Summary: Spearhead the end‑to‑end operation of daily business meetings and social events in a hospitality venue, ensuring flawless setup, execution and wrap‑up while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Expactations: • Proven front‑of‑house hospitality or event support experience in a busy environment. • Strong customer‑service orientation, with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations. • Comfortable handling cash and card payment transactions. • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills. • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities: • Greet delegates, provide guidance, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. • Prepare and adjust event spaces (pianos, AV, furniture) according to schedules. • Monitor and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness. • Coordinate billing, check‑in/out, and payment processes for all events. • Liaise with events, groups and hotel teams to deliver cohesive service. • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer solutions. • Manage cash handling and card processing, ensuring accuracy and security. • Assist floor operations, including buffet, bar or catering support as required. Required Skills: • Hospitality or event operations experience. • Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in fast‑paced settings. • Proficiency with POS or event management systems. • Cash handling competence. • Basic technical aptitude for AV and room setup. • Team‑player attitude, adaptability, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset. Required Education & Certifications: • High‑school diploma or equivalent. • No specific certification required, though hospitality or event management training is a plus.
