**Job Title** Chief of Staff **Role Summary** Strategic partner to the Founder, driving execution of growth initiatives, fundraising, organizational scaling, and cross‑functional alignment in a VC‑backed climate‑tech startup. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end communication and planning documents (All‑Hands, quarterly/annual strategy, board materials). - Facilitate decisive leadership coordination and maintain focus on prioritized deliverables. - Anticipate and resolve operational issues, providing data‑driven recommendations. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft, edit, and present executive and board‑level communications (slides, memos, policies). - Collaborate with executive leadership to set long‑term strategy and translate it into actionable operational plans. - Coordinate cross‑functional projects across science, operations, commercial, and finance teams. - Lead organizational scaling efforts, including hiring strategy and process development. - Manage capital‑raising activities (VC, strategic, debt) and prepare related materials. - Ensure alignment and efficient communication across leadership, eliminating silos. - Track progress of strategic initiatives and report status to the Founder and Board. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in high‑growth startups (Chief of Staff, Operations, Strategy, or senior leadership). - Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. - Ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and shift priorities rapidly. - High judgment, discretion, and trust‑building capability. - Execution focus with ownership mentality; self‑motivated by impact over title. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (preferred MBA or advanced degree) in business, finance, economics, or related field. - Professional certifications in project management or finance (e.g., PMP, CFA) are a plus.
