RailPros was founded in 2000 and is exclusively focused on providing rail and transit engineering and construction services. The firm is headquartered in Irving, Texas. We employ more than 1000 rail and transit engineers, construction, inspection, design, and field support staff. Through our extensive resources, we are able to respond to the full spectrum of the industry’s management, construction, planning, and design needs.

RailPros’ senior staff includes top industry talent who bring diverse and comprehensive expertise to the RailPros team. Our senior management team includes licensed professional engineers; several railroad professionals with more than 20 years of industry experience each; and former employees of BNSF, UP, Amtrak, Caltrans, and SCRRA. Having worked closely with Class I carriers and commuter rail agencies to implement, upgrade, and expand their rail services, RailPros senior staff members offer clients time-tested railroad and project experience in managing, designing, and constructing projects under live railroad traffic, with minimal disruption to existing rail service.

Job title: Intern – Human Resources Role Summary: A paid internship supporting the Human Resources Department in a fast‑paced environment, providing hands‑on experience across core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and compliance. The intern assists with administrative tasks, project coordination, and contributes to a positive workplace culture. Expectations: Collaborate closely with HR specialists and cross‑functional teams; demonstrate initiative in managing data and documentation; adapt to changing priorities; uphold integrity and confidentiality; attend and occasionally lead project meetings; deliver clear presentations and reports; support culture‑building activities. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and edit job descriptions. - Mail out certification badges and coordinate badge distribution. - Process incoming mail, scan documents, and route to the People Operations inbox. - Assist in preparing and delivering onboarding presentations. - Support daily HR functions and assist HR specialists as needed. - Lead project meetings and prepare presentations for stakeholders. - Contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace; enforce standards of integrity, accountability, and respect. - Liaise with internal and external individuals or organizations as required. - Perform additional duties to meet business needs.
