**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and setting appointments for new funding opportunities in the capital‑raising market. Acts as the first touchpoint for business owners seeking working capital and ensures a smooth handoff to Account Executives. **Expectations:** - Consistently meet or exceed daily call, outreach, and appointment‑setting targets. - Maintain high accuracy in CRM data and pipeline management. - Demonstrate resilience and persistence in outbound and inbound lead handling. - Contribute to continuous improvement of outreach scripts and messaging. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and SMS to identify potential clients. - Respond promptly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns. - Qualify prospects by evaluating revenue, business tenure, and funding requirements. - Schedule qualified appointments for Account Executives. - Keep detailed, up‑to‑date records in Salesforce and other sales automation tools. - Follow up rigorously with both warm and cold prospects. - Track and report daily KPIs (calls, talk time, appointments, conversions). - Build and manage a personal sales pipeline. - Coordinate with closers to ensure seamless transition of qualified opportunities. - Refine outreach scripts and messaging based on performance data. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Resilient, high‑energy mindset with a competitive drive. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting. - Analytical aptitude and comfort leveraging technology for lead sourcing and tracking. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales automation software. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in sales, lead generation, or CRM usage are a plus.
