Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Role Summary: Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and integrations. Translate executive and cross-functional requirements into scalable architecture, lead complex issue resolution, and drive DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code; mentor junior team members; collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units; manage project timelines in an Agile/Scrum environment; actively contribute to system architecture, redundancy, and security; maintain and expand Salesforce certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and batch processes.
- Build custom interfaces using LWC, Aura, Visualforce, and Lightning pages.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST, SOAP, and middleware; manage APIs.
- Resolve escalated functional and performance issues; write technical design documents.
- Lead DevSecOps initiatives: define pipelines, enforce code review, and implement GearSet or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Gather, analyze, and consolidate cross‑functional business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies; estimate, prioritize, and track backlog items.
- Mentor and coach junior developers; coordinate task distribution and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, JavaScript, JSON, XML, SQL.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization.
- Familiarity with SOAP/REST web services and multi‑system architectures.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
- Familiarity with GearSet or similar CI/CD tools preferred.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent education/training; or substantial experience in lieu of degree.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II (mandatory).
- Additional Salesforce certifications preferred: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Field Service Lightning Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant.
