Job Description
**Job title** Manager, CRM Application, Salesforce **Role Summary** Own and lead the strategic direction and daily operations of the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder engagement, and continuous platform improvement. **Expactations** - Deliver a measurable, value‑driven CRM strategy that supports organizational performance. - Lead cross‑functional collaboration and governance to prioritize initiatives and secure stakeholder buy‑in. - Manage a high‑performing team and vendor ecosystem while maintaining budget and contract compliance. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as platform owner, defining governance models and engagement strategies. - Build, maintain, and communicate a platform roadmap; prioritize requests based on impact and value. - Guide stakeholders and senior leadership on technical solutions to business challenges. - Lead, coach, and evaluate a Salesforce team; conduct task assignment and performance reviews. - Align CRM initiatives with IT priorities and broader enterprise goals. - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budget planning for Salesforce activities. - Capture usage metrics, analyze platform health, and report insights to leadership. **Required Skills** - Minimum 8 years of professional experience with at least 4 years in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. - Proven project or operations management experience, including cross‑functional collaboration. - Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and systems support strategy. - Effective communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills. - Leadership aptitude: team management, performance coaching, and results orientation. - Ability to drive adoption of emerging technologies and translate them to business value. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce certifications preferred: Administrator, App Builder, or Architect. - Experience in nonprofit or advocacy‑driven environments is a plus.
